What is CBG?

CBG (cannabigerol) is a phytocannabinoid found in the hemp plant, just like CBD (cannabidiol). Often referred to as the “Mother of all Cannabinoids”, all phytocannabinoids in the hemp flower start out as CBG(a) before changing into other cananbinoids like CBD, CBC, etc. CBG, which binds to both our Endocannabinoid System’s CB1 & CB2 receptors, also works synergistically with CBD in something known as the “Entourage Effect”. CBG is like CBD in that it is non-intoxicating and non-psychotropic. We encourage our customers to do independent research on CBG, its benefits, and its effects.
